With nearly 20 years at Eaglestone under his belt, Miguel Perez is a living, breathing vault of knowledge who knows the details of every project—and the quality that those projects must possess before they’re ready to ship.

MIGUEL’S EAGLESTONE JOURNEY
He got his start in the Finishing Department, and after proving himself there, he learned how to operate the Waterjet machine. After mastering the Waterjet, Miguel was trained on the Mazak CNC laser cutter, further expanding his expertise. Soon after, he progressed to leading the cutting department. The years of knowledge he gained on these machines easily qualified him for his current role of production supervisor.
“These days, I coordinate all the projects we have on a day-to-day basis,” Miguel said. “It’s my job to be aware of any problems that may arise so we can work together to solve them quickly.”
A RELENTLESS DRIVE TO LEARN
Many people are content to stay in their current position, cruising along as the weeks go by. Not Miguel. Throughout his time at Eaglestone, we’ve been impressed by his ability to learn new things that help both him and the company.
“It’s one of my favorite parts of the job,” he said. “Learning new things keeps me busy every day.”
“That’s also been my biggest motivator. I’ve learned that everything is possible at Eaglestone as long as you believe in yourself and show that you can handle every challenge that comes your way. If you do that, there will always be new opportunities here.”
FAMILY FIRST
Miguel’s wonderful family motivates him at all times. His wife, six kids and two pets keep him just as busy as Eaglestone does, and they keep his heart full at the same time.
“My wife has been a great support all these years, both at home and at work,” Miguel said. “She and my children are the most beautiful things in my life.”
NOT DONE LEARNING
Miguel credits the entire Eaglestone team for staying close to him throughout his career and helping him grow, and he’s particularly grateful to Michael Amato and Christopher Powell for the way they’ve helped to shape his path.
